Concrete lifting (also called concrete raising) is the general term for bringing settled slabs back toward their original elevation by filling the voids beneath them. It's often used interchangeably with concrete leveling, and can be a good fit when the slab itself is structurally sound but has moved out of position.
When it may be time to call
- A slab has visibly dropped compared to when it was poured
- You see voids, gaps, or washout beneath the edge of a slab
- Multiple slabs are settling at different rates
- You're weighing lifting versus full replacement
Concrete leveling may help with these issues, but every slab is different. Pricing depends on slab size, access, severity, and repair method. A phone call is the best way to sort through the options.
